Boko Haram fighters stoned Nigerian girls to death.

The Nigerian military were near to the rescue of the girls, when Boko Haram fighters stoned the girls to death. Some girls and women were crushed by an armored car and three others died on their way to freedom when a land mine exploded. The rescued women, girls and their children were very happy for their lives and freedom and are currently receiving medical care.

One of the girls explained that they took her to marry one of the militants, she said the militants carried her away after slaughtering her husband and forcing her to abandon her three children. "When they realized I was pregnant, they said I was impregnated by an infidel, and we have killed him. Once you deliver, within a week we will marry you to our commander," she said with tears.
"Boko Haram came and told us they were moving out and that we should run away with them. But we said no," she explained."Then they started stoning us. I held my baby to my stomach and bent over to protect her".Another survivor of the stoning, said several girls and women were killed, but they did not know how many.

The Nigerian military said it has rescued over 700 girls and women in the past week.
