A teenage boy from Kilama Community in Biseni clan, Yenagoa LGA Bayelsa State, yesterday strangled his 84yrs old grandmother to death.
On that faithful day,his mother fell ill and the father rushed her to the hospital.While his father was battling with his mother's condition, the boy heard stories about his grandma being a witch and that she was the one responsible for his mother's health condition. The boy immediately ran to the hut where his grandma is, and started beating her up and in the process, he strangled her to death.
This is to let us know how naive and senseless some people are in the society we are living in today's world, its quite unfortunate that people up till date are not exposed and believe in superstitious things.
